I want to say, I told you so. There is no turning back America, it’s going to take a long time to turn this around. Even the tiny El Salvador is not afraid of USA. Time to realize: freedom will have to be found in building a new country.

What bothers me is how people who know better are now saluting the tariffs: it does not make any sense to me. I can understand being interested in ‘America First’ or ‘Make America Great Again’ - that is all fine and well - but those same people are now cheering for more taxes?
Even some libertarians seem to think this is all alright. They have lost their minds! They are demanding less competition and insisting on more regulation? I am not so sure these are allies.
And, yes, it is another reason, among the many, that there needs to be a fresh start and a clean slate.

Bold predictions by MAGA.
“Two years ago I was an epidemiology and climate expert.
Now I am a macroeconomist predicting 🇺🇸 USA simultaneous exonomic war on half the world at once will end in victory for USA and bring it more friends. It worked great for Russia in 2022”
participant-4233, 2:22 PM, April 15
Any time a country wages war against the entire world, there is some underlying issue and it will probably end up worse off.
participant-3927, 2:22 PM, April 15
I do understand it. It’s what Ayn Rand called “second handed” in the Fountainhead. It’s collectivism.
participant-4233, 2:23 PM, April 15
In this case it is also one man’s obsession with trade policy from the 90s. The time to throw our weight around was when Ross Perot was suggesting it, and even then one or two countries at a time. Not pushing the whole world including our allies away.
participant-4233, 2:24 PM, April 15
Last 20 years the rest of the world has caught up, the US dollar isnt 90% of the reserves for most countries anymore. We have to know our place in a more multipolar world in my opinion. Trump is just accelerating US decline, which could have otherwise been a soft mean reversion.

I had a debate with Leon Weinstein on Radio VERA. It didn’t go as I planned, as it turned into me being the defendant in a court proceeding. But what’s interesting to me is that Leon references in his books Ayn Rand, Milton Friedman, Mises, Bastiat, and he still supports Trump. He admitted that he is against tariffs, but thinks that for defence purposes tarrifs are solution. Anyway, it’s in Russian, have a listen if you want.
participant-4603, 2:28 PM, April 15
What also gets to me is the perceived reputational damage done: whether it is exaggerated or not does not even matter, because the perception is that America is turning its back on its friends, and that is never a good look. It is one thing to go through hard times, and it is another to send mixed signals, but this simply does not look good whatsoever. No doubt, America, Canada, the UK, and the EU should all be friendly; throw in Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand, and you get the picture.
The bigger issue is that many Americans think this is alright and are comfortable with it; I am not sure those are my countrymen. But I also do not want to sound like a leftist, either.
participant-4233, 2:30 PM, April 15
Well it’s already done
The markets dont trust Trump admin
Our allies are soured - Europe on Vance and Canada on Trump
participant-4233, 2:31 PM, April 15
As I have always said for years… stop spending too much time trying to follow the “leaders” and macro. Dont be a statistic. Build your own movement! Make moves. One foot in front of the other. That’s how people changed the world. Even if you change only 0.1% of it, those people will unite and inside their community they can live their own principles.
Ayn Rand did that btw
participant-4233, 2:33 PM, April 15
Most people spend 10x as much time discussing what others are doing, how bad other systems are, than becoming leaders and building systems themselves.
Trump got where he is by making a lot of moves. Yea his dad and granddad gave him a big head start and bailouts, and without them he would have gone bankrupt. Thats true. But most millionaires and billionaires have never had multiple bankruptcies. They did it gradually, and what’s common to almost all is they raised money from investors and then continued building.
participant-4233, 2:35 PM, April 15
Very few bootstrapped it all on their own steam with no investors along the way ever. What’s common to the guys at the tippy top is 90% of the capital was invested by someone else.
participant-3927, 3:14 PM, April 15
So far no one contributed to Anthemism website. I can’t do this alone, it’s gonna die out.
participant-3927, 3:14 PM, April 15
Can you get me on some talk shows ?
participant-4233, 3:17 PM, April 15
Most people sink a lot of time into something and do it alone. I give talks (increasingly around the world LOL) about how to build a community around your ideas. 💡 People lack the tools to do it, thats why they become slaves to TikTok or whatever.
Here is a talk I gave last year in Dubai: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Gz0mpY4AtI
participant-4233, 3:19 PM, April 15
I’m probably going to teach a course soon, in NYC and maybe online. I will make sure everyone who takes the course graduates knowing how to use Qbix software and gets their own community app, telegram bot, telegram mini app etc. And I will teach them how to open a company and get hundreds of thousands of $$$ in free hosting credits from Amazonc Google etc. So the course will pay for itself.
The main goal of the course though would be to create materials for everyone online to understand why they need Qbix (and to some extent Intercoin) and how to use it.

Until now I’ve been mostly dealing with a small group of personal friends. Like Mark and Andy and you Boris. I am preparing to open it up to all the Groups users and then crowdfunding in the fall.
participant-3927, 3:26 PM, April 15
I am looking for a cofounder for my encryption ideas. For Ycombinator
participant-4603, 3:47 PM, April 15
Have you considered Vance from MyLatinLife? He has a cool podcast.
participant-3927, 3:48 PM, April 15
That works
participant-4603, 3:49 PM, April 15
He’s also got a decent reach on Twitter.
participant-3927, 3:49 PM, April 15
Do you know him well enough to arrange it?
participant-3927, 3:51 PM, April 15
We planned to write an article on Freeport. I read the report partially,
participant-4233, 3:51 PM, April 15
You just reach out to people or get recommended to be on shows. I got on a lot of shows this way. Leverage your strengths and put together a youtube channel with all your videos
participant-3927, 5:17 PM, April 15
I wrote to him. I have preivously written to him, but didn’t get a reply. I wrote to him again, linking to the website and my youtube videos in English.
participant-4603, 7:12 PM, April 15
If it doesn’t work I’ll DM him because he often asks me or folks in CountryFounders for guest ideas.
Also, in CountryFounders I know there’s a journalist out of the UK named Isabelle Castro and she’s doing some sort of a podcast that has some traction.
participant-4233, 7:13 PM, April 15
I can get you a couple journalists and podcasters Boris
But to grow a movement you will need some powerful automation
participant-3927, 7:14 PM, April 15
What kind of automation?
participant-4233, 7:18 PM, April 15
This
participant-4603, 10:25 PM, April 15
I can’t wait to listen to it!
participant-3927, 6:50 PM, April 17
We have recorded it, and the polished recording will come out in about three weeks.
