I don’t either, but I know that he’s been extraordinarily critical of the way California has been governed more recently, especially with these anti-wealth, anti-capitalist measures, and I know that seems to echo many of the sentiments of some of the more forward-thinking people in the greater Silicon Valley community, that Sacramento is putting the brakes on achievers and innovators. I hope that is not the case.
So there’s always been a bit of that underbelly seeking exit from big government, but I don’t think there’s any big groundswell of opposition to big government in the Bay Area. I mean, I know a lot of folks have moved to places like Austin, but I don’t think there’s been a big exodus, just like not all of Wall Street has fled to Miami.

An important reason to form a new country is the chance to rethink child education. Stossel put out a good video on why daycares and schools are expensive and why regulations prevent talented teachers to teach.

The name rings a bell, as does the American Capitalist Party. It is rather unambiguous and unmistakable what it is about.
If I were going to set up a political party in the United States, I would want to call it something like the Independent Party or the Moderate Party or the Centrist Party. The trouble is smaller parties in the United States don’t really stand much of a chance because of ballot access laws, among other obstacles, and so it is another reason why it’s likely much easier and better to just start a brand new country instead.

A book on Crimea, written by a leader of Crimean administration in the 90s, is now in the hands of my acquaintance from Vancouver. She is visiting her mother in Crimea , and she will bring it to me when she finally comes back. I was trying to get this book for two years. Another friend with Russian bank account helper to pay for it, and it was mailed to a student of the woman. Then the woman travelled to Crimea to visit her mother, and picked up the book from the student. The website that was selling it said that it has only one copy.
